I never understand how random forum posters can type things out like "It's not hard at all. It's extremely easy. It's just filling out a form below." and actually believe it.

Like, someone can seriously believe a decades old multi billion dollar company like Square Enix with an entire legal team and multiple advisors has never thought of this simple idea, but luckily for them a lv43 goldsmith alt on the forums has done a 5 minute google search and linked the necessary form, so all their problems are solved and huge sums of money wasted on IT infrastructure will now be saved. Do they visualize Yoshida himself browsing the forums, desperately in search of answers to his DDOS troubles, reading this and praising the heavens for providing the answer?

Those people are generally the ones that think anything is easy if someone else is doing it. But the moment they need to do something themselves it's suddenly impossible.

I mean, we have non-random forum posters who have been here on the forums and around the game for literal years basically saying the same things about pretty much any change they want to see in the game. I don't get it either, but it's not really surprising at this point.
