DDOS Attacks

I have been playing FF14 for many years, and SE has always taken the high road and not turn these people in to the authorities and keep on spending money and resources on IT infrastructure.

It's 2021 and we are about to go into the Finale of FF14 & Hydaelyn Saga, and I think SE needs to take a hard approach (i.e. all ip logs, referrals, payment info, and affliations) and start turning in these cyber criminals and post mugshots and public criminal court cases on the FF14 official website as a strong WARNING that SE will not tolerate cyber criminals and DDOS attacks.

We can assume that they are planning for an attack when Endwalker starts in November, and I think SE needs to firmly and unequivalently tell players this will no longer tolerated now or in the future.....

You do know how it is to trace and prevent DDoS attacks? They are a nightmare, and if the place of origin is a country that does not give a crap SE can try to punish them but if the country does not play ball what can SE do?

Sure would be nice to watch them burn but reality is different. If a group wants to DDoS the game they will just a nature of the beast it is less about prevention and more about recovery after the attack.
