Suggestion> Excluding dungeons from dailies

Hiya, I'm unsure whether this is the right section to post a suggestion, but I'm still new to the game and I only just created a forum account.

I've been personally experiencing a lot of issues with a certain dungeon appearing when I do my daily level 50/60/70 dungeons (The Aetherochemical Research Facility) and was wondering if maybe an option could be added to exclude certain dungeons from dailies in the Open Duty Finder Settings. I was thinking something along the lines of 'Limited Dungeon Pool' or something, where it would offer a list of all available dungeons and would allow you to check off any you don't want to be included in the shuffle.

It may sound a little weird and perhaps I'm the only person with an aversion to one specific dungeon, but I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read.

what issues are you experiencing this is a genuine question so I can pick your brain to maybe suggest a solution.

The thoughts behind the daily-roulette are not really to offer the players a great experience. They want you to play them, that new players can finish the content, that´s why something like "a personal dungeon list" will never happen. Ppl would get ride of any longer or more challenging (hahahahahah) dungeon, just to run something like tam-tara down in 5mins.

And yeah, what´s actually your issue with this dungeon? Do you think there is no loot? Instead of some armor, you get allagian tombstones at each boss you can trade at the vendors. Next to the end cutszenes, it´s like every other wall to wall dungeon so far.

That's very true, but could a middle ground exist?

"Oh, hey, your roulette has given you this duty twice in a row / three times this week / whatever. We'll give you a day or two break from it and remove it from your roulette."

Seriously sometimes it already feels like this. It´s like having a "weekly rotation" especially in normal raid. Don´t know it´s just bad luck or if a wave of new players is always at the same content level.

A safe system which prevents from the same dungeon in a row would be nice yes, but i doubt it´ll happen. I´m still waiting for duo-mentor roulette too. Would be awesome.

Remember: game doesn't force us to do any dailies.
I also dislike this dungeon for some unclear reasons but that's part of the deal when we roll this roulette.

It'd be lovely to have an option at all for it. I have an alt on which I never unlocked any of the crystal tower or Alexander and doing dailies with her is super lovely.

The point of roulettes is to have players fill the queues for those doing the content for the first time. Adding a dungeon blacklist would end up causing problems as queues would be harder to fill for the less popular duties and new characters would have trouble progressing through MSQ.

SE has added a feature where you can limit which dungeons might be selected with queueing with an entire party. If you really want to avoid particular lower level dungeons, get a group of friends using jobs of a similar level, or try creating a group through Party Finder listing your level requirements.

Possibly because it's rather long and has no loot other than tomestones. Seeing gear drop is somehow more satisfying even when you don't need the gear.

I completely understand that limiting the roulette pool could lead to some issues so I understand that something like this wouldn't be implemented.

I'm unsure exactly what my issue with this particular dungeon is, I think it's something about the neon lights and how everything is turning and flashing. It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable but, like someone pointed out, I could just skip it. ^^

They won't add something like that because it kind of defeats the purpose of the roulette (making sure new players can run older content). If such a thing was implemented, everyone would check off Aurum Vale for instance and then new players would struggle to actually run it with anyone.

It would be nice in theory though.
