    Wow, I hadn't seen that yet since I hadn't logged in until just now.

    Doesn't even remotely look like her. There's nothing catlike about that face. She looks like Bonnie Tyler, the singer of Total Eclipse of the Heart

    Gotta disagree. The doll is not ugly. If anything, the doll is too cute to be Y'shtola.

    My question isn't whether or not the doll approaches uncanny valley. It's who will be willing to shell out nearly $1k for a soft plastic doll? Your average FFXIV player does not have that kind of money to throw around.

    Not soft plastic, resin but in any case given the brand, I'm pretty sure that's actually "cheap" for one of their dolls.
