No one uses LSs, Fellowships or even the Party Finder these days... Would hope for many active communities using said tools routinely, but seems everyone just wants to use Discord. Why no love for ingame tools?

Also, Party Finder should be world wide in my opinion. As well as Duty Finder.

PS: lastly, they should really add some Weekly Duty Roulettes with good rewards exclusively for extremes and another just for savages. About time. Some of the few fun and challenging contents in game, needs way for attention and engagement than it actually has.

I’m in several active linkshells, specifically CWLS, one fellowship so far, and very regularly use party finder for higher end content such as extremes. People use discord ON TOP of this, for ease of access and being able to voice chat and share memes. These tools are still being used, you might not be looking in the right places.

Well, where then should I ask for active good Linkshells and Fellowships?

I am in some Fellowships and all of them are quite inactive, for example.

Also, I use party finder regularly and while it's ok, it's not exactly BOOMING as I would hope (specially the way servers are always full), I would really hope to see each and every extreme and savage with at least two to five parties being formed in minutes everyday (synced) judging by the number of players the game has... yet 99% doesn't even seem to know it exists at all and actual Party Finder numbers are less than ~10% what I mentioned my expectations would be.

Not a lot of people do extremes and savages. Fellowships are not chat rooms, they're essentially collections where you can FIND likeminded people to form a CWLS with.

Most people who want to do extreme and savage are done with it at this point. They got the BiS sets, the glam and the mounts they wanted. We are at the end of an expansion and it'll take until after EW releases for it to pick up again.

As an FYI. Most of the ff14 community has cleared most of the stuff you'd see in party finder ad nauseum by now. It'll pick up next expansion as players come back to the game and start running content again.

Um...the Party Finder is full of entries, I use it every day. Linkshells are busy and active.

If you're in inactive linkshells you need to ask yourself why you're in there? what was the purpose of said linkshell? was it for friends or just a bunch of random people? does it have a specific purpose like for hunts? Are the people in those linkshells even logging in to the game lately? You do know that even though the game is more "popular" right now, that we're still technically in a pre-expac lull at the moment?

I initiated PF when I was running Bahamut and ppl joined in minutes. We wait a few more minutes before launch.
So I think unless the PF was for a full party they usually kick off pretty fast.

The Linkshells are chatrooms, they're kind of a relic of the olden times, doesn't mean they're no longer used, but as players nowadays have much better unofficial alternatives to them they're not as prominent. The main ones you hear about nowadays are ones setup for very specific purposes like Hunts.


And for duties, the biggest reason for why they are Data Center wide and not World Wide is probably to avoid adding in extra lag to people who'd be connecting overseas. Kind of why at first Data Center travel when it gets implemented in 6.x, it'll at least at start only be limited by region (EU, NA or JP).
