Altering the character models, seems to be generally also passable, as there's very little they could non-invasively do to find out who has them... "Just don't post pictures of your nude mods onto the public." seems to be the general stance.
Current ToS allows them to do whatever means necessary to connect your social media to your character. Hence how Arthars twitch clip got him banned, TEA spoiler that posted on twitter before the servers went up, and some lala mod bans.
