The community obsession over particles and visuals is apparent, so I knew SMN would be a popular job in the LL

My concerns are;
Progression kit, how will this job play in 50s 60s? 70s 80s are key for ultimates and how will the job seemlessly transition from all of them? Some jobs can pull it off (GNB/SAM) other jobs peak early as hell and don’t evolve (RDM/MCH) and others have a awkward progression kit (BRD/MNK/BLM).

Is the kit intuitive and mechanics complex enough to be fun but not daunting? A job can have all the flash in the world to distract you from doing 1-2-3 and SMN has me worried as I just see Ruin III/IV repainted and recoated hence why it seems it has a lower skill count than MCH as both skills are really 6 skills. We don’t need more brain dead jobs and if this is the case SMN has quite the rocky life ahead of it. I’m sure a lot of people don’t care about the kit and just want jobs to be pretty which adds on to the concern

Lastley is the aesthetic right? Idk how I feel about summons leaving so soon still feels like Bahamut and Phoenix are the only true summons but maybe it can’t be done in a mmo format. Just have to wait and see but I do not buy into the hype what so ever
