Moving to Australia from the USA, i already know about their third world internet, what the unofficial "Aussie" server?

I believe most of them are on Tonberry or Kujata.

Oceania servers not coming out until 6.1 or later.

Elemental data center, especially Tonberry is popular but they are also spread out across the other regions. There will be a new data center for it in 6.1, which should be in March or April but the data center could be between then and August.

As mentioned above, traditionally Tonberry was the de facto 'Aussie'/Oceanic server but that's long been full up. Any JP server is physically closer to Australia than the NA/EU servers, but my experience as an Australian player is the difference is not really that noticeable (I had lag on the JP server Ridill just as much as I have on the NA server Balmung), so it's more better to just find a server that is open and especially where your friends are.
