    Temporary SGE tooltips

    So the people from the Reddit discord have translated all the SGE tool tips that they could from the LL. Here the image and then the edit with all the info later

    Edit: Back up again.

    1: Raise target
    2: Select party member or enemy and gap close, can't use while bound
    3: Reduces taken damage by 10%, can't be applied together with 8. 15 seconds (like soil, ground effect). Additional effect: heal hot, potency 100. Recovers 5% of own MP. Can only be used while under a certain buff (that is not on the screenshots)
    4: Heals target, potency 600. Recovers 5% of own MP. Can only be used while under a certain buff (that is not on the screenshots)
    5: Dot on target, potency 70 duration 30s. Heals target of your heal buff for potency of 170 (only once when applying dot)
    6: Heal hot on self and players around. Potency 200. Increases heal taken by 10%, 15s duration
    7: Attack target, potency 330. Heals target of your heal buff for potency of 170

    20: Target self or one party member. Applies Cardia(?) buff on target (the heal buff I was talking about in the other skill translations). When using certain attack spells, you heal whoever has the buff.
    21: Applies to target of 20, doubles heal potency that occurs after the use of your damage spells. 10s.

    Let it also be noted that this is all from this build and not in all a total representation what the final may be but as of now, looking better than sch.

    Summary: A lot of skills with minor difference to create massive button bloat that even requires a "swap"-button to condense your aspected helios, aspected benific, and DoT into one button.

    I'd argue that these certain buff are the blue orbs.

    Half of this reads like stuff I proposed in my pre-ShB Dancer Healer thread (Here).

    % Mitigation + heals over shields (worse than what I proposed, weaker mitigation that lasts way longer and doesn't apply before the heal).
    Telemarks are the new heal and DPS marks, only applies to 'filler' spells.

    The other half is the enhanced spell section of the kit. We'll see how it goes but it's kinda nice to see they aren't doing shields entirely (yet).

    Not really, otherwise you have a powerhouse shield stacking job and that's pretty broken for skipping mechanics. Instead, Sage seems to be a job that specializes on DPS to heal, but whereas it doesn't have as many shields as SCH, it has a decent number of mitigation sources. However, most of the heals are very weak (like physick potency weak) but subject to change.

    So what they didn't explain much is that Cardia is a skill that targets a partner and assigns both you and the target to be healed whenever you do a DPS attack. This lasts infinitely, but the heal is pretty minor.
    This is your main 'sustain' like a SCH's pet.

    Unlike other jobs, Sage doesn't have as many potent oGCDs since they are a GCD-heavy job. They are:
    Soteria - Ability - doubles healing effectiveness of Cardia for 10 secs - 90 sec cd.
    Physis - Ability - an aoe regen of 100 cure potency for 21 secs - 60 sec cd
    Holism - Ability - 300 cure potency AoE - 60 sec cd
    Physis II - Ability - 200 AoE heal, grants 10% increased healing potency
    Icarus - Ability - 45 sec cd Dash
    Pepsis - Ability - heals AoE only if target is under Eucrasia Diagnosis (450) or Eucrasia Prognosis (350) - 15 secs cd.

    Then you have 4 abilities based on your gauge spender - which is similar to WHM in charging up, but generates MP after using one. (That's 3,4,8, and 11).

    All the other skills are spells (GCD) that rely on you to do damage to heal with the passive effect - healing only 2 targets (you and the partner).

    A couple of them have their own CD as a GCD:
    Pneuma - 1.5ish cast time? Heal allies hit by beam for 400 potency and give 10% mitigation. - 120 sec cd, heals Cardia ally by 170 potency.
    Phlegma III - Instant cast, 510 potency on first enemy hit, 50% on remaining enemies, 45 sec cd, 2 charges, heal Cardia ally by 170 potency.

    Eucrasia - 1 sec recast, strengthens next Prognosis, Diagnosis, or Dosis into their Eucrasia counterparts. (Reinforce skill)
    Dosis III - Spell - 1.5 sec cast timer, 330 potency hit. +170 potency heal to Cardia partner.
    Prognosis - Medica equivalent - 300 potency heal.
    Diagnosis - Cure Equivalent - 450 potency heal. 1.5 sec cast time

    Eucrasia Dosis III - DoT 70 potency for 30 secs, 170 potency heal to Cardia partner. - Instant cast time, 1.5 sec recast
    Eucrasia Diagnosis - Heal + Shield
    Eucrasia Prognosis - AoE Heal + Shield

    Toxicon II - Instant cast 330 potency with 50% on remaining AoE, heals Cardia target for 170 potency - used under a certain buff?
    Dyscrasia II - Deals dmg to enemies around self by 170 potency, heals Cardia target by 170 potency - regular AoE

    I'm quite happy that they went the "DPS for healing" route here.

    I'm not really impressed by the skills' appearances, but that's superficial. I do like me that charged laser, though.

    Honestly, its just proof they have the ability to make a new and interesting healer, but they choose not to.
    Given other statements, they don't care about healers, and they don't care about veteran player's opinions, instead preferring to make depth about puddle deep.

    Holy shit though button 19

    Edit: just realised, it confirmed my suspicion. This healer is made out of chunks of the other 3. Its got scholars aetherflow ffs
