    Choco Racing/Feeding Question

I started inter-breeding a little late in the process, pedigree 7 but some of my earlier choices were good I guess and now I have some very nice 8s. I'm confident that I can get a 20 star P9 out of them with a few attempts.

When I am leveling my 9-to-be and aiming for the perfect 500 stats, is it possible to screw up feeding (bad RNG, say) as long as I do not cap any stat before the max rank.

I will of course feed them the Grade 3 green food from the NPC but is it possible to end up with sub-500 values if you don't hit the hard cap?

I know I can breed as many 9s as needed once I've got the right starter stock but if I can do it right in the first few tries, it would be nice.

Thank you for your help in advance. Having a ball with Choco Racing. Looking forward to more of it!

It’s going to come down to your level up rng, getting too much acceleration from your level ups lowers the total you can get for your other stats (I think perfect acceleration is under 250). That being said, my turkey is far from perfect with 3* in both acceleration and cunning but I was able to max out max speed endurance and stamina and I do perfectly fine in r-300 races.

This is also assuming you’re going for a super sprint bird and using either increased stam 3 or choco cure 3 as your abilities.

Also to explain level ups, when your bird levels up it will get 5 1% increases distributed randomly, these increases are also rounded up in the case of say, 460 max stat the stat gains will actually be 4.6 but it will read as +5(4.6) +5 (9.2) +4(13.8). Grade 3 feeds grant 3% to the selected stat. In general guides will recommend maxing out a main stat when it’s divisible by 15, so if you’re at say.. 410 max speed you can max it out with 6 feeds of grade 3 speed food. However by taking that stat out of the equation for level ups you increase the chances a level up will go to acceleration so it comes down to personal preference in how you want to do things. High acceleration isn’t the end of the world it’s just a dead stat due to how super sprint works so too many levels into that lowers your potential totals for other stats.
