[Request] Please Make Sanction Stay Upon Death!

So I just spent several hours grinding away to get the new bow from the Grand Companies (Serpent Sergeant's Bow, I'm in love with it... or was...) and already it's completely useless. What's really the point in using "Sanction" weapons if Sanction wears upon death? I feel cheated now that I went through all that trouble to get this bow and it's useless... Please SE, change this so Sanction does not wear upon death! I'm okay with having to go back every 3 hours to get a new application, but making it so you lose it when you die just sucks. Thank you.

Alright I was reading the dialogue with a GC NPC and made it seem like I had to exchange GC seals for a Sanction.

I was going to post the same thing. Sanction should'nt wear off upon death.
Also, enchanted items to manually cast sanctio when you can't return in city would be useful, like ffxi' signet staff. Something with a long cooldown obliusly

There's no winning when losing doesn't exist. Similarly, a buff isn't a buff if it's permanent. If it's permanent, it is a stat.

no what i would suggest is an Item similar to Reraise earrings in XI that gives u sanction
so that even if you lose it in combat u can still use it and if it wore off u can again use it

I would suggest that if you get a raise, sanction stays, but if you return it, wears off. If you want to make it not wear off no matter what then I would suggest making it last only an hour or an hour and a half.

I like your compromise, as long as you need to refill the earrings. Or what about using anima to refill it? Or maybe even crystals to refill the sanction (similar to the skyrim enchantment system)
