An interesting contrast between player communities

Coming out of the live letter, Reddit seems to be generally very hype while these forums generally seem to be drowning in misery (and very concerned about teleportation fees).

Both Reddit and the forums are very self-selecting subsets of the player base and neither represents the player base more generally, but it's interesting to see general attitudes diverge so wildly coming out of the same event.

Each venue has different norms, people, etc. (though certainly with some overlap), but the contrast is stark.
