An interesting contrast between player communities

Yeah anything not yet another commission of generic ass cat girls/anime lizards(May or may not be dressed in eastern attire and may or may not have a waterfall in the background, or maybe both) , dumb memes, or unfunny jokes.

I'm not sure what you think this game is, but "generic cat girls/ Anime lizards" and memes are very much a big part of the FF14 community. People coming together to share things they like about the game and have fun with the subject matter in their free time, while also not wanting to hear people screech into the void about every lil thing indefinitely, is perfectly valid.

That subreddit aint prefect by any means (toxic positivity is a curse that leaks into almost every large community for this game), but at least when you go there, you don't have to see troll thread after troll thread about how the devs are lazy bums for having the UI team make Gpose stickers instead of a new ultimate or how the devs are homophobic for XYZ reasons or other such nonsense with zero thought behind it as a means for some mental child to vent.

4chan is no reddit, but it's far from a small community (way bigger than the OF at least) and I'd love to know what kind of stuff you're on if you think people aren't complaining on the various boards and threads there, way more than the OF does, if they're not posting a sideways looking femra or cat

"Small" was referring to FB groups, 4chan is anon which means people can generally just say w/e they want without a care.
And I have no cule wtf you're on about. People there generally don't whine endlessly about the game as they do here.
