Why? It was one of the things that makes the class appealing....please stop pandering to those with the cognitive skills of a rock by over simplifying the game. If someone cannot comprehend, then that is no excuse to ruin it for people who can :/

This was pretty inevitable assuming the whole pure vs barrier healer thing didn't turn out to be bluster or a mistranslation.

It'll be interesting to see how SCH ends up after this though. I can see it either being a case of very little to nothing changing and it's really just Barrier healers vs healers that only have a single target barrier. The other route I can imagine is SCH losing chunks of it's AoE healing kit. Sacred Soil is one of the most powerful AoE heals in the game, whereas Indom would also be considered rather mighty if it wasn't crushed by Soil's potency over time. Both are MIA in the job trailer afaik? Given SE's track record with murdering SCH on the release of an expansion, I'll take a :blobsweat: for that one please Bob.

And they've apparently changed Divination so that it only buffs the Astrologian, not the party, again, screw you Failenix.

And Redraw wont have charges anymore and can only be used once per cooldown? What is wrong with you Failenix?! Why are you screwing with AST?!

Because AST has to compete with WHM now so it can't be more powerful than WHM.

It was already competing with WHM before all these changes, and they worked great together, so this is unnecessary, why say this? There was nothing for them to compete with eachother in beyond what they already brought to the table and both were equally great as is, so why?

Because now they're both considered pure healers, and it's looking like you'll want a Shield and a Pure Healer for 8 man parties from now on. Meaning they're not likely to be working together anymore, and are instead going to be fighting for the same party slot.

Correction, Divination will still affects the whole party but no longer use Seals. Seals will be used for a new self-buff for AST.

Bringing AST down for this reason would be so much worse than bringing WHM up.
