Guessing the WoW players that came following their streamers didn't get the memo that the FFXIV community actually has some standards. This also includes standards for trolling.
I have no issues with the ones that understand this isn't WoW and play FFXIV as FFXIV. But can you guys smack the rest of them trying to turn FFXIV into WoW over the head with a cast iron skillet until they either get the point or get carted out with a concussion? :P
the reality is the WoW forums seem to have set an exceedingly low bar for this. and after being brainwashed for years about how this game sucks, they think little effort is needed to rile up weebs
Yeah… our trolls are very intricate, at least in the scope of forum trolls. It sparks discussion, and typically while the post itself is an obvious troll, it’s still a somewhat generally valid conversation to be had. These new trolls are just, well… meh. Bland, tasteless, generic.
I would not call it a weeb thing, but this community has always been like that. They are very overly sensitive. So trolls don't got to try, and the ones that do. People STILL talk about them even if they not around anymore.
It is part of the price to pay with how over protected players are ingame.
over protected by that you mean the GM's actually act on reports of harassment?I would not call it a weeb thing, but this community has always been like that. They are very overly sensitive. ya, but also calling people out for wasting time blah blah. Point is that it is not a bad thing the game babies and protects people. The community is better for it. If they are overly sensitive for it. Small price to pay.
If thats a real token HECK YEAH, some memorabilia!
Ill just pretend thats what this is about
