What people are essentially saying here is “Devs, you made a thing that I don’t like. So work more to make me options so I can hide the thing you put blood/sweat/tears into because it doesn’t match my sensibilities. Oh and make it so I can choose which ones I want to see because hey everyone has different taste. Thx<3!”

It’s a waste of time and I would argue rude. If the devs didn’t want you to see a cat boy in a Speedo with a frog head, they wouldn’t have made it in the first place.

How many man hours to design a system that will need to be added to regularly to allow players to toggle individual items they find distasteful?

People complain about losing a dungeon when the devs do other content. I’m all for that if the content they produce is wide reaching and useful. For me, this is the most niche issue I can think of, and would be a huge waste of resources.

I mean if they end up doing it, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings or anything, but this would be the fist thing I throw a meme at when people complain about “why no dungeon this patch ahmagerd!”
