Not finding a specific Emote Setting (i hope?)

I ussaly play on the Europe servers and when i use an Emote it is displayed similar to this:
"Yoltula nods at Alphinaud"

Howerver when i started an Alt in American Datacenter and i used an Emote:
"You nod at Alphinaud"

I reaaaaly love it when it is adressed at me like that, much more RP-like!
So my question would be
Is it a setting that i just cant find (oh please!)
Or is it just diffrent in American and European Servers? (qwq)

I think it's different between American and European datacenters; although I'm not particularly sure since I don't have an alt (yet) on a European datacenter. From what I know, it's always on the American datacenters "You {insert action here} at {insert PC/NPC here}". I don't believe you can change it or if there is an option to be able to change it. Sorry if this doesn't help you much.

Thats so odd its not the same. Is it due to the several language options on EU or what is the reason behind that?

It's weird. I remember that when I played with English interface it was "You nod at Alphinaud", and my main character is on EU. Will need to check it.

Did you possibly do a custom emote via /em? That's the only thing I could think of.

First one was with /em for a custom 'emote' with no actual emotes being used
Second one was me using /mdance and it says it like it does. Other see it differently though.

Not sure about the difference between NA and EU, but I do know that you can set custom emote macros that put whatever you want in chat. Could be something worth looking into.
