Nonsense. This is just high level whining about the world being so unfair that you're forced to this nasty thing you don't like or will be considered bad.
A few EDs more or less in your opener will never make a noticable difference as long as your not in the 95+ area. If you're in danger of parsing low, you have other problems. Probably not pushing that one button we have enough.
Even with every ED and a couple of GCDs spend on healing, you can easily reach 75+.
