Scholars don't need to immediately dump their AE stacks in savage. The damage gained is so insignificant, the only place where it makes sense to use ED is when you are resetting DoT or when you are using Ruin II to weave and/or move.

I am curious about how does one put Chain Stratagem before Biolysis in the opener without clipping.

Using most of the Aetherflow stacks for Energy Drain is what I disliked the most about Scholar in Savage. Initially, when I unlocked the ability I thought that Energy Drain is something like a bait ability that the devs forgot to remove because it consumes the resources I need to use for healing. I didn't even have that ability on my bar before I started progging raids with SCH when WHM was taken.
