On top of that Rising Phoenix has a changed potency of 700 according to a newly leaked tooltip.

LF + DK spam is still 411.6, as you said.
    A full Phantom Rush cycle brings us to 1300 (411.6 + 396.8 + 491.6) ÷ 3 = 433.3~ for the weak Solar Nadi variant and 1366 (411.6 + 462.8 + 491.6) ÷ 3 = 455.3~ for the strong variant.

So yeah, Elixir Field would need a potency of 750 to make the spam worth it and that's not going to happen lol. I don't think that even the single target Lunar Nadi skill will be that strong & it's likely going to share potency with Rising Phoenix.
Thank you! Yes you are correct! Rising Phoenix is actually 50 Potency higher (700 now) over the Live Letter build, making the overall effectiveness of gaining Light Chakra's worth more. And yes! EF's potency was worked out via the potency of RF, which, at the time was 650 potency and hit for around 12k I believe with a direct hit. So, I essentially got rid of the 1.2x modifier for the direct hit, leaving RF as a normal hit doing about 10k~ and then divided it by the potency (650) to work out what one potency is equal to in damage (15~ damage). Then I took the 9K from elixir field and divided it by the damage/potency to work out roughly what EF potency is (9,000 /15 = 575) - taking into account the game has a natural 5% rng spread of damage, made it more likely to be 550.

Note: The numbers above aren't exactly the same, but close enough to demonstrate my point. I used this same method to find out PR's potency too. We can safely conclude for now at least, that the developers did their calculations right and Phantom Rush worth the ramp up. Now we just need to wait to see what other changes there were so that a rotation and opener can be theorycrafted haha

So, with the tooltips now published, do we have an idea about MNK's rotation in EW?
Seems to me that for our ST rotation, our blitz priority will be Rising Phoenix, followed by Celestial Revolution (entering PB with leaden fist, then BS -> DK -> BS -> Blitz) and then Phantom Rush.
We'll go Phoenix -> Elixir Field for AoE.
However, the potency of the Celestial Revolution blitz combo seems a little too low, to the point that Elixir Field might be optimal even in ST with a high enough Crit Rate. Pretty weird. Any ideas on that?

Probably Celestial is a compensation when you screw up your combo, similar to bunny mudra. Unless it gets buffed its not worth using in any circunstance

If the bunny mudra is meant to be compensation, why does it still offer no sage advice upon summoning?

Unless its potency changes dramatically for the release build I don't think Celestial Revolution should be seeing use at all. It's 150 less potency than Elixir Field, and even the 3 skills in the PB window would be less damage since the most damage you could do within the PB window would just be to Dragon Kick>Leaden Bootshine>Dragon Kick/Leaden Boot>Dragon Kick>Leaden Boot.

I'd say it's what Bhearil said, something that exists that keeps your rotation progressing even if you happen to mess up an input rather than there being a Single Target Blitz at all.

Level 99 skill in 7.0, the Bunny Mudra gives rotation advice and tells you about upcoming mechanics. 1% of the time a Gremlin spawns and shames the player for pushing buttons in the wrong order.

Would I be right in thinking that the best way to open would be to use PB then use (Dragon Kick>>Twin Snakes>>Demolish) = Rising Phoenix, then open 2nd PB and use (Bootshine>>Dragon Kick>>Bootshine) = Elixir Field then of course once you have PB ready again use it (use any combo of forms) = Phantom Rush

Just wanna make sure i'm understanding Blitz correctly
