You can do the reverse and heal someone while a boss is your target and a player is your focus target.

    /action "Cure" <t>
    /action "Cure" <f>

You could also make these do the last target with <lt> or you can make it heal the main tank with <tt>.

It seems pointless for this to be presented as a unique feature of Sage.
No. Not damage while healing someone, "attack an enemy while healing a designated target simultaneously". This raises the possibility that, because these things happen simultaneously, that sage heals marked players through doing damage to an enemy. Which is how Discipline Priest heals in WoW.

And if that's the case Sage is automatically an incredible breath of fresh air in what has been a stale healing environment for years.

I'm straight up hoping Yoshi-P lifted Discipline Priest from WoW and plonked it right into FFXIV.

Well, this is promising, lol. Maybe they can copy Brewmaster Monk's deferred damage mechanic for a tank Job, too. I'd like that, at least.

I think they just wanted to mimic the fairy in some way which keeps healing while the SCH does dps. Easier to balance than the problems they had with Noct AST vs SCH.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
