Because of the changes, its been a while since I took the game seriously. Had numerous breaks. The mistake some made was assuming I had an issue with 'casual' in its entirety; seeming that I came from twitch/speed orientated mmo games. However the opposite was the case. Because of the global cd and more thoughtful design (at the time); I didn't mind adjusting. Rotations and skill volume could afford to be a little more dense - because the game was at its core quite slow for the better part. That is if you had any mmo years behind you at all.

When the 'simplification' as I called it began; I already knew that as with other titles Yoshi follows, that had done the same - nothing would be changed to account for it. Meaning that most of the remaining kit would be unnecessary because its just far far too simple with any form of competence. Of course the head nodding 'yes crowd' ignore you or give you the ''stfu or leave'' speech (how welcoming lol) however, it's now come to pass. One button spam for a lions share of what should be someones progressive experience. Fun. Reward and investment.

As this will no longer change; the forum is much like beating a dead horse is it not? Predictably, even if Sage is a step forward in lessening healer disappointment - it won't be that robust on release. Years will fly by with more simplifications across the board it seems, if craft and homogeny of dps/tank and so on is anything to go by. It is a lost cause.

I am tired of seeing this done to games quite honestly. To the point I suspect this will be my last (cheer for the pro-dum crowd no doubt). Ultimately however Scholar remains the clearest example to you of my long term point. What was - to now, Isn't improvement. It's castration. Literally from fun to numb. I cringe every time I see the Scholar logo and feel sorry for those who had it as class fantasy #1. Now what do you get? Homogenized fairy skins and faster tendonitis? Sigh. Whatever next.
My sentiments exactly.
