They said the action's primary purpose is a AoE damage reduction, but it additionally provides a movement speed boost as "a fringe benefit" (within quotes exact words).

I read the Sage has seven damage abilities. I worry it will push out other healers if it has more dps or will be harder to solo with having to use seven damage spells to do what other healers do with only two. Maybe they found a perfect balance but idk.

It is interesting and I really would like to get my hands on trying it.

Something that wasn’t showcased and we didn’t get info on: the AoE DoT. Do you lose funnel (oops, I mean nouliths!) functionality during that time?

The truth I fear most is that while it does have a lot of damage abilities, it’ll still probably be:

It might just be the new shiny boring. A reason I think I don’t see as many Malefic spam jokes coz…the shiny appeases my lizard brain. I already know the SGE laser appeases my simpleton mind. XD
