Yeah, a work-around exists. Grab a free VPN (or, maybe you already use a VPN). I use Windscribe but I won't shill it; absolutely any completely free VPN will do.
- Open your launcher / FF website.
- Turn on the VPN.
- Launcher / site will allow logins.
- Turn off VPN before entering login credentials.
- Log in normally.
I've not had the issue with FF websites, but the launcher does this to me perhaps one out of ten times I activate it. VPN on/off fixes it every time.

Absolutely, this will work too. The error is clearly caused by some caching of an incorrect IP - when you update your IP the error goes away, so certainly cycling the hardware will fix the problem. VPN on/off only takes six seconds, tho, and you don't need to leave your chair. =)
