Does Anyone Worksafe RP here?

My advice is to network. I don't play on a "RP World", but I have plenty of people to play with. I can't rely on the rp tag and walking around, but I have my carrd linked in my search info which gets quite a lot of people talking.

Go into discords, discuss characters and plots with people. There is so much you can do in FFXIV RP-wise that isn't ERP, but you do need to organize it depending on your location.

Yesterday I found two girls hugging each other next to Raya-O-Senna... for half an hour I think.
I was doing WHM quests for lv45 and 50. By the time I came back to finish lv50 quest they were gone.

Would you count that ERP?
I don't know what they were chatting in private so I have no idea. I remember because their outfits were great and I poked them a bit

Depends on the character, but yes some characters do talk like that. Others talk like pirates, with accents, like Sharlayans, many other ways, or just "normal".

some do. most use modern vernacular complete with memes, slang and other such things, which makes for pretty unimmersive rp scenes imo.

Stop pretending erp on balmung doesn’t exist or is over stated. Maybe you’re just numb to it or so focused on your own rp that you miss it. But I have walked through thal, heading from doing blue mage things to a summoning bell. Then from there, On my way to bald, just before I get there, I see it in say.
This really caught my attention because it wasn’t the usual back alley s worker stuff I’ve run into. Or someone bragging how they have 2 cat girls and looking to share. (Also just casually said ad if normalcy). But what I saw was borderline beastiality.
I don’t care what you all do. Though I do think you all should take a lot of it to party chat. Make your own fc’s for it and chat there. Link shells. What ever. But let’s not pretend some screwed up stuff doesn’t exist because it puts a dark spot on something you love

No one here is saying that it doesn't exist. But it isn't as prevalent as some people are portraying it to be, even on Balmung. Is there ERP? Sure, there is. But for 2 NSFW roleplayers you'll find 10 SFW roleplayers. RP scene on Balmung is bigger than on other servers, so of course you're going to come across NSFW stuff there a bit more often, but it doesn't mean that the majority of roleplayers is into it.

Fully depends on your own preferences and/or on what was decided on the scene by participants. I remember seeing people having a roleplaying session in Azim Steppes as Qestir, and they were only using emotes with custom texts, since by lore Qestir tribe doesn't talk at all.
