You realize roulettes only give the massive EXP gains once per day?

Working as intended - it's not meant to be the primary means of levelling, but a carrot for running old content so that new players who need to do that dungeon/trial are guaranteed players queuing via Duty Finder. The once a day bonus is to stop players exploiting it.

There are plenty of other means for levelling - Roulettes were never intended to be run over and over again for EXP chains, it's as simple as that.

Nothing got nerfed at all, sounds like you did a roulette more than once. The exp bonus Daily Roulettes give are only available ONCE A DAY, and doing the roulettes after that won't give any bonuses, unless it's the Adventurer in Need bonus, and even that only really affects Gil after the first time you do the recommended role for that day.

If you're complaining about leveling via Roulettes like this, I'd hate to see what you look like in the duties themselves after not getting the experience you demand.

It also depends on the dungeon you get.

Satasha will give a larger chunk of completion exp at the end than a dungeon near your level, because it compensates for the fact you get next to nothing from the mobs. Something like Ifrit normal gives lower exp because it's shorter time investement. Any exp gains from mobs depend on rested exp too.

    There are no hidden nerfs.

It is the bonus of xp proportional to your level that is interesting for the leveling roulette, but 1x per day.

It gives you easily 1/3 of your xp bar. Apart from that, it's useless, once you reach level 71, the coolest thing to do if you want to chill is Trust System.
When you don't want to sprint from the beginning of the dungeon to the final boss, this is the best. You have to take the time to live... or playing with friends, but I don't like anyone.

Also remember "per day" does not actually mean your own time-zone physical day but the Japanese "day" so the XP bonus only resets around JPN Midnight (for UK that's about 3pm so if I did a roulette at 4pm yesterday then tried to do one at 11am this morning, I would not get the XP Bonus). Obviously depends on your time zone when it would reset for you.

like people said it based on you current level and the dungeon you get. If you get satasha for a roulette and you are around 70sh you are going to get alot of exp for it.

for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

Running dungeons for leveling XP is not time efficient. I remember WoW could be leveled by running dungeons back-to-back.

Here, leveling is best done through the MSQ and their relevant dungeon instances, and alt jobs through the daily roulette when you have a bonus, and other things (Beast Tribes and Hunts, for example.).

You also need to be aware of rested XP. You log off and start gaining rested XP. It doubles XP until you run out of rested XP (that blue/yellow sub-bar you see on your XP bar). The longer you're away from the game, the larger that bar grows.
