Idea on the dreams/nightmares we are having

Ok we all know that the echo allows us to look into someones memories, but what if the twelve themselves could contact us through the echo. This contact could be via these dreams and nightmares we are having.

For example the one where Van Darnus kills everyone, and you wake before he kills you, perhaps that is a raid that will go on against the imperial stronghold in Mor Dhona, and the twelve are showing us what will happen without intervention.

It could seem like the twelve are trying to help us, but they can only contact the few who have awakened the power of the echo, also in one cutscene I remember Van Darnus telling us that the twelve are not helping us, but what if it just looks that way because he cannot use the echo.

I woke up this morning to the dream of the Legatus stabbing me. Dunno if it's random when you get it or what, but I slept in the inn at Gridania.

Honestly I think this is just a subtle way of getting people from idling on the streets of Uldah and giving you a bonus at the same time. :P

I assume you get the Legatus dream once you've completed the new Grand Company quest (the pre-req. for mini-Garuda), or after you've completed mini-Garuda.

I got the Legatus dream after I beat mini-Garuda, but before I turned in the quest (logged out before I was finished because of emergency maintenance).

I can confirm we are getting cutscenes, I logged in today to what seemed like the aftermath of a battle in Mor Dhona, the admiral was killed, and Van Darnus was going to kill me, then I woke up on the floor, and walked out the inn.

Which is what lead me to think these are more than just dreams/nightmares.

I haven't done Garuda yet, so it may be the first quest. Someone that hasn't done any GC quests would have to confirm.

It will come again when you log in, seems like you have to be logged out for atleast 30 mins to see it.

I dreamed everyone important was dead and Darnus was about to stab me.

Unless his weakness is pickaxes I'd be screwed should this exact situation come to pass.
