Wards suggestion.

The ability to send a retainer to the wards via the bell was added in 1.22, but the huge flaws with this are:

1. There is no indication as to whether the ward you are sending your retainer to is full, you send them and it looks like they have gone, but they havent, we need some indication.

2. I used the bell to call my retainer who was in the wards, I was managing her for about 3 mins, and in that time the slot she was in got filled, and now all the Ul'dah wards are full, I would like (with this feature already added in 1.22) to have a cool down after a retainer has been called though the bell, so the slot remains yours for a set time, if the retainer is not in the wards in that time the slot opens up.

It is very conviniant to have a bell in the merchantile ward with the few steps to check prices and to the bell, but the "Dispatch your retainer to the market wards" command is absolutely useless if the slot can be taken instantly, this cooldown only needs to be about 30 mins (maybe less) to make it fair for everyone.

I know people are going to say "Use another cities wards" I will probably try that tomorrow and see how it goes, this is just something I think needs adding or the ability to send them to the wards is useless.

And a final comment, use the bell at your own risk, you may loose your slot it only takes 5 mins for someone to take the slot.

along with this, we seriously need 1 market window that searches combines all the wards.

It made me laugh out loud when I went from Uldah market which has tons of people in, then to Limsa and Grid and no one is in there. And to ensure, I put Fire Shards up for like 100g in Uldah, all sold within minutes, but the 50g ones in Limsa stayed up all day long lol until I took them out and sold them in Uldah.

So we're back to square one, i knew this would happen, noe one checks Limsa and Grid wards when you can get everything you want guaranteed at Uldah :/

I managed to get a spot in Uldah and now I just dont use the bell at all. I just run to Uldah and talk to her there to ensure she does not depop XD

My suggestion to SE. Stop wasting time on useless features and setups, just put in a temp fix, reset wards weekly or add in a timeout for retainers like AH items have in XI, then focus your efforts on the bigger solution, combining them all.

If you decide to use a bell to call your retainer from the wards, to give them items or manage the bazzar the slot your retainer had instantly becomes free for anyone to take. There is a bell to call your retainer in the merchantile wards, which in thoery is really conviniant, check the price of an item, go to the bell and put your items up for sale, then use the new feature allowing us to move our retainer to the wards. However this featuse has a huge flaw in that it only takes one bad timed use of the bell and you loose your retainer's slot in the wards.

Because of this I cannot use the Ul'dah wards because in the 5mins (possibly less) my retainer's slot was taken and all Ul'dah slots in Gugnir are taken.

Also if you use the bell to send your retainer to a full ward you just get the standard (in the case of my retainer) "Ok, I'll start now if you want" brilliant shes gone to set up shop, or has she...

@PV Really don't use the bell, dont fall for the false indication of convinance having that bell in the merchantile wards, you will loose your slot in the wards.
