Controller + PC?

Hey all,

I'm not quite sure where to put this, but as it's vaguely UI related this seems the best place.


I haven't participated in much non-FC group content in the past so this wasn't an issue, but now that I'm looking at doing more DF/Roulette content, skill bloat is a looming issue. I've been a Keyboard and Mouse player since the mid-90s and am too set in my ways to change how I use the KB+M [yes, I'm a clicker] now. However, since I'm no longer able to sufficiently keep up with rotations and movement as well as I'd like, I'm considering getting a controller to help when doing group content.

Do any of you out there use a keyboard + mouse for solo play and a controller for group activities? If so, how do you manage the two forms of input? Do you just unplug the controller when not using it or do you change settings when doing different content?

There is a switch in Character Configuration at the top left which let's you toggle between input modes. Conveniently you can still type and use the mouse in controller mode.
