    My other favourite job (dark knight) got turned into Warrior this expansion. So not exactly sure what to expect from EW
    Gunbreaker I guess is my favourite tank atm? It might get a few good things axed.

    My favourite dps jobs...rdm I'm expecting to remain a bit stale, dancer could go either way and dragoon...well I'm looking forward to being able to poledance again after 6 years. It might get some Qol.


    I've been playing long enough to become extremely jaded when it comes to job changes because they keep dumbing things down and making things worse
    SE once made jobs and actions with the lore and gave each job an identity. Gone are those days.
    Weather or not EW fixes anything, Shadowbringers will be remembered for being the worst expansion for job identity. Every job they touched and tried to improve turned into a massive reduction, name one beneficial job change this expansion you can name 5 that people hated.

    Also the games going down a painful trend of being too accessible, to the point in expert roulette you don’t even have to do mechanics (Ran Relict as a tank with no buffs and only did snort mechanic, and didn’t die once)

    IDK man 1.0 and 2.0 existed.
    Hard to have any class identity when your hotbars come from 9 different jobs.

    I think that some jobs will get an aoe version of single target attacks they have. DRK more off globals or more to spend blood on or another part to the GCD combo, PLD more spells and hopefully a better mitigation, WAR damage buff from aoe or a revisit to that, MNK revisit of redundant actions, SMN revisit of how summons work and a new summon, DNC more dances, NIN more mudras, MCH more buttons, AST more cards or card effects and permanent diurnal, GNB more cartridge actions and abilities. I don't know about the others.

    Some annoying actions were removed from DRG to make it more playable, DRK has been super popular and fun to play, the spell additions to PLD were amazing, SMN got a new cool summon, mudras work better on NIN, Tornado Kick is no longer detrimental to use on MNK, DNC is fun to play, MCH is actually fun to play since the overhaul, GNB is really fun to play with all those explosions. I don't really know who could hate all these changes and I see a lot of people enjoying them.

    That's because of item level and it's common for max level dungeons. Leveling dungeons are almost minimum item level so they hurt a lot more. Dungeons in general have not been made to require proper play by a tank for a very long time. The biggest need for mitigation is big pulls, particularly in leveling dungeons.
