Ah yes, the classic anti-UI modder who thinks having larger health bars or more visual debuffs is playing the game for itself.
Nobody forces you to create such a mess with addons in WoW. You can do it if you want but you do not need it. This is my UI in WoW Classic:
It has a little bit more notification windows than a typical FF14 UI but it is a healer UI ready for 40 man raids. If FF14 had also 40 man raids than the typical healer UI would also look like that.
Cheers
I disagree, to me this guy gives off the same vibe as ativan and similar gay/lgbt personas he/their rmt group made threads with, but then again I found the last few personas of him/them kind of insufferable already, so who knowsContrary to popular belief, it's not always that guy. Not getting TitanMen vibes from this one, personally. Kinda wish it was though. Never thought I'd say that. This guy is just insufferable. At least with TitanMen we can react with "Oh, you!" and move on with our day. Some people just have really bad takes and a superiority complex.
You are pathetic for implying I busy myself with RMT. Reported for libel, which is illegal in Germany. Stop this shit.

Man, it must be so hard these days to mind its own business.
Why does it bothers you so much, when people want to ruin their own experience by using plugins/mods/etc?
Parsers are nothing new for FFXIV. So its not a "WoW"-thing. The whole purpose is meant to get detailed feedback about your own performance, because the game itself doesnt give you any. If you use it to judge other people, you doing it wrong.
And some of you didnt know, but there is a website for almost everything. Crafting simulation, hunting, khloe, mini cactpot (gold saucer), eureka, bozja tracker, etc etc. Some of those things are now also available as plugins. Not a big deal in my opinion.
RMT and bots are a much bigger problem than people who need their supporting wheels-plugin. So you all can calm down for a moment, stop thinking about what other people doing and enjoy the game the way you like.

Damage metres are effecting other players and the community . "why arent you doing enough damage?" Additionally its giving you advantages over others.
Because you arent supposed to look into the gaming code / damage numbers of others.
And i dont even get why players need it. Are you guys so damn bad at the game that you need extra damage metres like that to display yourself if you are bad at your damn rotation and equipment?
Just play the damn game and not the gaming code and numbers. Enjoy it for what it is, and dont try to change it.
Sorry, but its pathetic. If you want to work with numbers all day long you guys can do my job, i am working with numbers and Excel sheets all day long..
Last but not least: Its against the rules... is it so hard to stick with the rules and leave a game as it is?!

For the most part I don't need a damage meter to feel when something is off in a party since things would be taking longer to kill than usual. That being said for people who prioritize high end content, even if they ban ACT Yoship said it himself that raiders will take out a calculator and start adding up damage manually by using the info displayed in the combat log like in the olden days.
WoW players are not boogiemen to be afraid of. If you're getting called out for not dealing enough damage, something would seriously have to have gone wrong like a dancer using their steps while being miles away from the enemies or a healer refusing to dps at all in a dungeon run. Otherwise, it would be difficult to notice that anything unusual is happening. Oftentimes these are easy fixes and it's not difficult to suggest ways to improve in a helpful manner rather than a toxic one.
Calling out someone for not doing enough damage is using ACT to harrass and can get you banned. How do you know a certain person is not doing enough damage? Use those addons and UIs as much as you want. Yoshi-P doesn't care if you use an addon unless you start using it to be a bully. Also, don't try to tell someone how to improve unless they ask for it or you ask them first. I am not against help people improve, but I am not about to get banned for doing it.For the most part I don't need a damage meter to feel when something is off in a party since things would be taking longer to kill than usual.
