Easier solution to OP's problem:
Create a 4th Log filter and place everything in that log except what you'd like to see in the General Channel and then turn them off in the General Channel. Out of site, out of mind.

Literally what I do. Just make extra tabs and organize it.
So, I can filter out individual system messages by setting proper filters in a new tab? I'll have to check that out again when I log into the game. I swear I checked that out already, and I found I could filter system messages in their entirety, or not at all. I didn't realize you could pick individual messages such as the TT spam, etc., that I mentioned before.
Thanks for the tip!

Nah, guys, this is what OP is talking about. There's a check there for system messages. You either take them all, or you take none of them. There is no, "I want to filter out Triple Triad and Sactuary spam, but keep everything else.")
I want to re-iterate that I don't honestly care, either way, that this can or cannot be done. That's OP's thing. I'm just saying that if such a thing were possible to do, I'd filter out a couple different spammy system messages.
And there is no obvious way to do that. All or nothing. Creating a new tab and editing filters doesn't get to the core of what OP is asking; there are no filters for individual system messages.
