shouting for assistance in one of the main cities or in Mor Dhona itself should net someone to help you. barring that, try making a party finder for your issue. either will certainly be faster than asking here. good luck!

Look at the quest in your tracker. There's an item icon next to the quest objective. Target the mob and click that icon to use the item on the mob.

XIV isn't like other MMOs. You will need to read quest text because it contains instructions like, "use this item on the target to weaken it."

It's common that people try to kill this without using the item on it. If an enemy ever takes that long to fight and it's part of your quest, you are supposed to use an item on it to weaken it.
