Please Square/Enix let me choose how I can Play my Warrior...

The Warrior job was designed as a tank. For them to queue as a DPS, they would need a kit overhaul, or rather a different, secondary kit for DPS. If they do this for Warrior, then they must do this for other classes as well, meaning a whole bunch of alternate kits to be designed, balanced, tested, etc. What you are asking for is no small feat and doesn't fit with the game's design. Instead of playing one class with a few 'specialization' options, you get to play all the classes, each with their own set role. Such is the class/job system in FFXIV.

I'm also wondering how it is that you've ran into so many horrible/rude groups that treat you so poorly when I've yet to see a single instance of such behavior in the 2+ months I've been playing since I returned to this game. I'm not saying these things don't happen, I just doubt they happen at the frequency that is being suggested in this post.

my guess with the rude groups is.. and just a thought, not turning on tank stance because of course, a dps doesnt use a "tank" stance. so of course because the rest of the party is getting trounced, the healer wont be happy, the dps wont be happy and there are a lot of wipes.

Wonder what's wrong with you all? I wrote I like my WARRIOR and I want to be able to choose my Role in Dungeons, between DD / Tank. And what is the answers I get?

- Play Class XYZ
- When you took up the job, you signed up to be a tank
- you are bad at your Role, try to learn it
- Play Solo your Warrior and in Dungeons a DD
- I don't know what you are asking for ... (Yeah FML it's so hard to read a short Posting here)

problem of trolls of forum its they give suggestion that triggers community, square looks and could say "oh you want this then..." and could mess game cause troll thought it was funny.
No wonders why Jap players don't like foreigners in theirs server or forum.

I believe the devs are gamers themselves, and a thread like this won't even be noticed.
If I were to guess, I'd think the EN community team aggregates reports every so often, and forwards them.

You realize we're all DPS in this game, right?

Healers are DPS with healing abilities. Greeps.

Tanks are DPS with aggro management abilities. Blurps.

So congratulations! You're already a DPS. You just have some added responsibility because you picked a blue DPS over a red DPS. Get used to it, or play a red DPS and stop complaining that the DPS job you chose has extra stuff expected of it in party settings.

I am a Troll if I have a different opinion, god forbid if I'm not like all others here and dance a step out of the line. Sorry I have failed to be so perfect like the rest of you and that everyone knows me so damn well. A Warrior is in all other Games not a Tank, it is a DD.
I am pretty sure I know how to Play my Role as Tank, DD or even Healer. I Play since 25 Years Online Games, how many of you was not even born then? But I guess all bigmouths here, knows always everything better.
