Firstly, the goal "to keep the peace her citizens want" is inherently flawed because the writers failed to make you believe this. Let me explain why.
In the introduction, we see the people cheering for Koana, eager to harness more technology. The Mamool Ja rally behind Bakool Ja Ja, driven by a desire for Mamool supremacy. Similarly, Zoraal garners support by advocating for territorial expansion. Amidst these cries for progress, supremacy, and conquest, only two elderly women approach Wuk, expressing a desire for peace.
This stark contrast highlights a critical issue: the majority of Wuk’s own citizens do not prioritize peace. They are more invested in technology, racial dominance, and territorial expansion. Consequently, Wuk's objective to maintain peace is rendered insignificant if her own people do not value it.
Instead, Wuk's goal should have been more aligned with a pressing and relatable challenge. In a previous instance, she is depicted as being terrified of a talking parrot in patch 6.55. Her goal should have been to confront and defeat Valigarmanda for the sake of lasting prosperity. Such an objective would not only address a tangible threat but also demonstrate significant personal growth.
By setting her sights on Valigarmanda, Wuk would be tackling her own fears head-on. The notion of taking down such a formidable foe would likely be met with skepticism, with people exclaiming, "She's crazy; no one can defeat that bird." This would create a narrative arc where Wuk evolves into a courageous leader, ready to stand at the forefront of her people.
After achieving this feat, her role in the story could naturally conclude, shifting the focus to Alexandria. There would be no need for her to engage in a battle against a shade of Gulool Ja Ja to prove her worth, especially since Gulool himself could not defeat Valigarmanda.
This revised goal for Wuk would not only make her character more compelling but also more in tune with the desires and fears of her people.
