    Friend keeps having (an unexpected error has occurred. exiting final fantasy xiv.(6d)

    Anyone Know any fixes for the "an unexpected error has occurred. exiting final fantasy xiv.(6d)", we have tried everything from MacType (doesn't have), and Geforce Experience (can't have has an AMD card) to some weird out of the way fixes he has tried Redownloading it and deleting the document files. Lastly he has downloaded the launcher itself and off of steam and still gets the same error code. Thank YOU for help in advance.

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    To prevent repeating previously attempted troubleshooting, what have they tried to alleviate the problem? Does this crash happen when Final Fantasy XIV is the only program running? Also, could they provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
