Also I lack a citation but I'm pretty sure Michael-Christopher Koji Fox or Yoshi already poured cold water over the 'the real names of the Convocation members were all named after Greek gods/figures from Greek mythology' idea... before the revelation about Loghrif and Mitron. So that statement may have been a red herring... or Gaia and Artemis were just coincidences.

I mean, Hythlodaeus has a Greek name also.... however his name comes from Thomas More's Utopia and actually means literally 'speaker of nonsense' (in Utopia it was the surname of a philosopher who supposedly washed up on the eponymous island and whose report More supposedly was narrating, and his name as such was essentially a coded joke - interesting tidbit is that Amaurot and the various districts of it are also taken from the same book, Amaurot itself being the name of Utopia's capital city), so don't take too much stock in Hades' name being from Greek myth also therefore has to mean every Ascian had a Greek name accordingly.

Really, Emet being Hades was probably more simply to reference the reoccuring FF summon of the same name in my personal opinion - it's why Emet-as-Hades' final attack in the Dying Gasp was Black Cauldron after all.
