Suggestion: Title placement

I would like very much to have control over the placement of any title I own, whether above or under the character name. As I personally want to turn on some titles but dislike how I can't place them under the character name.

eh... it's kind of a thing with each title whether they're intended to be read before or after the character name.

tbf, I have that all turned off at this point cuz I wanted my screen to be clear of clutter.

I don't really get why some are above and others are below the name. Maybe it's part of the Japanese culture, I don't know really. However, I'd personally appreciate placing any title I turn on under my name.
Sure others like the opposite or some like you, which is why I suggest giving full control to the players.

likely has a lot to do with the creation of inappropriate name looks.

because some players will do their best to be crude and then innocently throw up their hands and say "whatever do you mean? that was not my intention" when everyone knows it WAS the intention. With no player control, its hard to do that.

It has something to do whether it's like a suffix to a name or not. Like for example "Alexander the Great". It will never be "The Great Alexander".

Some are intended to be before the name and some after, though. That's why they have a set spot.

Yes this is by design. They are context sensitive and a title being a prefix or a suffix to your name is kinda how nicknames and titles work in real life as well.

Which title, specifically, has you irked?

As others have said, most of them don't really make sense or not as "correct" is moved in the other position, so I can't really understand what the issue is.

I guess I can see it for certain ones like the Garo ones which are just names (like "Dan"). Is your problem something like that?
