How TF do I unlock Moogle Beast Tribe quests? EVERY website is FALSE!!

EVERY website that says how to unlock Moogle beast tribe quests is FALSE!! There are a couple dozen websites that say how but NONE are true, accurate, or correct.

Also, EVERY website has VERY different information on the quests needed to unlock the beast tribe. No two websites say the same thing.

NONE of the quests that these websites tell me to do exist. I am running in circles in the Churning Mists going to location to location just to find that these quests are NONEXISTENT!!

Some websites tell me that it starts in Ishgard but EVERY quest that these websites tell me to do are NONEXISTENT!!!


I have ALL MSQ quests completed as I completed Shadowbringers. I have two crafters over 50. Weaver at 53 and Goldsmith at 58 and yet NONE of the dozens of quests that I am being told to do even exist.


So, what is the REAL way to unlock the Moogle Beast Tribe?

You need to follow every one of them. Yes, there are a lot. Yes, this is correct. Once you reach the end and get to the blue + unlockable, you cannot proceed until you have a level 50 crafter.

Man, going back through that quest list, and hitting previous quest... previous quest... previous quest...

I... I don't remember this many quests to unlock it. @_@ I must have blocked out that memory. Good lord are there some steps to unlock these!

You probly did block out the memory. You had to chase that little bugger across almost every inch of the zone before you finally got a straightforward unlock and the story quests/dailies. I still kinda hate the moogles because it was so much work, just to do some MORE work via the actual quests. I also hate the namazu for being obnoxious, and the dwarves for being lalas. I guess its a good thing that i dont actually need these tribes for levels and only choose to do them for story/rewards.

OP - Ignore these non-believers. That ridiculously long list of quests that i did for a lousy ungrateful moogle clearly isnt how you unlock the tribe that i have max reputation with. No no no, the devs must be conspiring to keep you out of more content. But to what end? What are they hiding that they dont want you specifically to know about? I wonder...

If your concern is to level your crafters, just submit HQ to daily GC and enjoy other things.
You'll get to 80 in no time.

The Moogle quests are definitely some of the more tedious beast tribe quests, so the sheer amount of prerequisites to unlocking them is pretty ironically consistent.

This is what I did, even for crafting jobs that I hardly ever used; just buy what you need from the market board each day when it's cheap, and you can receive multiple levels of experience at once. It's actually kind of shocking how easy it is to level every single crafter and gatherer job through that system, almost never needing to do any actual crafting and gathering except for a few of the job quests.
