Do you know what the error code is? Try to get the BSOD back to see what it is if you don't.
Typically, BSODs are hardware or driver related. XIV might've triggered it but it's likely that it would've happened anyway.

It's "Irql not less than equal" that shows up the most, sometimes "driver irql not less than equal". I have also seen "Page fault in unpaged area" in my feeble attempts to to a system restore or just randomly. I should mention that when I was still allowed to be on my desktop for more than 5 seconds I was able to run the memory diagnostic tool, which did nothing.
