Best Place to Farm Elemental Crystals

I'm looking for closely spaced together nodes for farming the different elemental crystals.

Specifically places similar to this one for Wind Crystals located outside of Fanow:
Wind Crystals - Rak'Tika Greatwood


Lightning Crystals - Azim Steppe



This kind of node doesn't seem to appear on the Gathering Log:



Where are some of your favorite spots to farm Crystals? (Other than Market Board!)

Honestly?

Bots farm crystals 24/7 from under the map and stick them on the marketplace for such a low amount that it's hard to resist just buying them.

Instead of farming crystals for 12 hours, I could catch a single rainbow carp and sell it for 3 million, and buy up full sets of crystals instead.


Having said that.... I am intersted if somebody else has a more efficent idea and location.

Bots or Retainers.

Retainers bring back 100 at a time now, I just keep mine on constant duty whenever I don't need them for anything else. Beats supporting the bots too.

Yeah, I just use retainers as well. Seems to be the laziest yet quite effective way. Venture coins can be so easily acquired by GC seals, Allied Seals or Centurio Seals... all these seals be acquired so easily just from doing weeklies (dungeons, hunts, Blue mage weekly challenges etc).

Are Aetherial Reduction of Ephemeral Node items or hitting the sprites in Diadem still good ways to farm Shards/Crystals/Clusters? Anyone know? I thought Aetherial Reduction was the bomb digga over a year ago.

Aetherial reduction still works and is somewhat decent especially if you're also gathering a useful aethersand, but hitting the sprites in Diadem is actually never the play since you could be using that augur charge to instead hit any other mob, appraise its drops for skybuilders' scrips, use those scrips to buy an item like a dye, sell that, and then use the gil to buy the crystals for cheap.

There's also some unlikely other sources worth investigating? Doing triple turn in leves for crystals works, and I've been outright capping on multiple types of crystals/clusters by soloing level 70 treasure maps as blue mage.

I definitely wouldn't rely on using The Giving Land to farm them outright unless you're farming 41-50 gathering nodes in ARR zones for the relevant achievements

The best place to get Wind Crystals is in Central Shroud. There's a group of trees right before the entrance to The Upper Paths that's close together and has a good chance of getting +yield bonuses.
