    FFXIV Launcher error 2146697211

    Hello

    I get this error 2146697211 everytime I launch FFXIV since this morning. Everything was fine yesterday.
    I tried eveything I saw regarding this error to no aval (clearing IE's cache, checking the SSl and TLS options, using mobile phone usb thetering, using vpn,..).

    I can play the game fine on my ps4 but not on the computer so I suppose my internet connection is not the problem.

    This error seems to be internet connection related. It could help when you try an other internet connection like mobile internet or a VPN.

    I already tried vpn and usb tethering my mobile phone connection, resetting my router; nothing works

    I still can't log in from my computer and it's been almost a week since the error appeared . Fortunately I have a ps4 and I can still play but not thanks to the technical service who does not seem to care

    In such cases i would reinstall Windows. Mayhap it helps.

    Does this only happen when logging in? DO you get booted from the game? Did anything change on your PC that coincides with this?

    I couldn't even log in; I had the error just after the ffxiv boot when the launcher window appear but today it works without having changed anything. I don't understand what could have changed today for the game to work after several days of it not working.

    Hopefully I'll not need your help anytime soon (fingers crossed).

    Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums

    Could you try the following:

    -Make sure your fire wall or antivirus program is not interfering with the game

    - Check to see if the following port ranges are opened on your router. You can contact your ISP and request they open them for you:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

    -Try disabling background applications and do a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the “Start up” tab. Disable everything and then restart the PC.
