Squadron to max level

Are there any plans on bringing squadron back to max level? I really enjoyed this system and preferred it over Trusts. I understand it didn't make sense for them to be in ShB dungeons.

Also it would be nice having the option of using a squadron member as a companion instead of your chocobo

You preferred a system that is limited to classes and not jobs. Which does mostly less dps, has trouble holding area aggro (where you have to take aggro 1 by 1) and heal more than 3 mobs on the tank.

I would prefer to do dungeons with them instead of the trusts.
You can order them around and and they are faster then your random DF group.
I would like to see them continue that.

Trusts is the new squadron. I don't see them returning to give updates to Squadron.

Getting 10 completion for the emotes was enough suffering.

Sadly, no, it's pretty unlikely. I also liked having the option of using Squadrons for dungeon grinding and would have loved to see the squadron system folded into both the outdoor companion system as well as the Trust system. As it is now, though, and with Trusts taking all of the spotlight in that regard, it's likely Squadons are retired to being a generally dead system.

10 is nothing compared to get a lv80 all trust achievement for some limited glamour.

But either i doubt we will get anything new from them, let alone unlocking new GC ranks.

I really enjoy the Squadron system as well. At a bare minimum I hope they at least bring them up to 70 so you can do some SB content with them too.
As it is now, you can level with Squadrons from 20-60, and then trusts from 71-80... but there's no NPC option for 61-70.


Additional stuff I'd like to see done with Squadrons beyond that:
- the amount dungeons that can be run with them expanded overall for ARR and HW.
- job promotion quests for trusts (instance trials undertaken with the recruit you want to promote)
- all jobs available as promotion options
- viera/hrothgar recruits

Yes, please.

At least allow them to go up to level 70 and can access some 61-70 dungeons.

I use Squads for quick Wonderous Tale stamping when I don't feel like minimal party sizing stuff. They're faster than most DF groups.
