Be idiotic if they did considering Thule is one of the worlds foremost outdoor equipment brands too. A simple google search will spit out the brand before anything to do with far right nationalist groups.
Yeah true, but that might be for NA google. Its probably different for JP google, or some other country.
Plus it might be overkill, but they might just want to get rid of the words that might be problematic. Like some stuff that we don't find offensive might be highly offensive in other languages. Its the problem with globally launched games.
EDIT: Also it might be what google knows that you look for. I've done military history stuff in the past so its right up top.

I was curious (especially since I don't use Google) so I tested this and I saw 0 search results about N*zi, almost everything was about that Swedish outdoorsman brand, and the single result that wasn't was a Wikipedia article about old world cartography:

Brings up the company, and companies selling them for me. As well at the group that owns the company.
I absolutely detest blanket bans on words with obscure meanings. Or innocent words in other languages getting nailed because it's spelled as an inappropriate word in English. See: Swedish.
