Confusing Restricted Names

I'm sure many of you have attempted to name a character or something other in game before, only to be told that it simply won't be allowed. Most of the time, that reason is probably clear.

That being said, I went to rename one of my airships, as I was sticking to a certain theme with the naming of them all. However, when I submitted the name, the game shot me down for it supposedly containing a forbidden word.
For the life of me, I can't understand why or what that is.
Does anyone know of a reason why the name "Thule" should have been rejected? I in the end settled for an alternate spelling (Thoule).

I'd also like to hear any other innocent names people have submitted that have not been allowed.

Wow, I'd never even heard of that before.
I could understand "Thule Society" as a phrase being banned, but not just the word on its own.

It's also the name of a fictitious Greek island. I wouldn't have even guessed there was any other meaning.

Yeah like their symbol use to be on everything because in ancient Sanskrit it use to mean good fortune before it was used by them. You tarnish something too badly it can never be recovered.

I made Moses one time and when I tried to name him Moses it wouldn't let me so I had to name him Oldtestament Prophet.

I wasn't trying to mock Christians or Jews, I respect Moses cause he was one of the coolest people in The Bible, I made him a highlander and all that and played BLM cause it's the closest weapon to a staff like Moses used in The Bible to part the sea for the Israelites to escape Pharaoh and he used it to out do the Egyptian Sorcerers' when they cast their rods as snakes and cast his and it ate em up.

I would be very surprised if "Moses" was the problem, unless there's some extra meaning to the name that I'm not aware of either.

Did you try it with any other surname options? More likely it was spelling something obscure between the end of the forename and the start of the surname.

I never heard of it either, I'm kind of surprised the GMs would have even thought to ban it. I'm guessing there's a story there.

That's an incredibly silly restriction, because that is still a name people have today. Imagine being told your own damn name is not allowed because it's a restricted term.

I'd take a shot in the dark that it may be due to the Muslim Religion Moses is a revered prophet and they ban the use of religious figures in anything. There was a whole thing with them banning the movie Noah due to Noah being a prominent figure in the Quran. Not saying it's the reason but it could be possible.

And yet "Based Cunnyseur" is fine and not an inappropriate name as far as SE is concerned.
