I made a character on Leviathan (Primal) and got a job to 80 with it, then started playing my old Zalera(Crystal) character and it does feel like the overall group quality in duty finder is lower on Crystal. People do seem friendlier though so I'm currently debating which server to play on come Endwalker. I'd like to try my hand at Savage raiding, is it really impossible to find groups on Crystal?

Queue times are the exact same on both servers and I've yet to experience any form of lag so that's not a factor.

It's definitely possible. And there are discords for both raid recruitment and Ultimate specifically for Crystal. That being said, Aether and Primal have a much larger raid population. Aether also tends to be far more active in its pug scene from what I've heard but don't quote me on this. Either way, we'll have cross DC soon which may open up all three Data Centers to each other for raiding purposes. So you'll have options.

I never lag and get those errors so that has to be a personal issue. If you don't like it here then don't play and go to a different datacenter for awhile like Primal. Seems Crystal hate threads show up often.

People look for things to hate so they can feel superior. Because they can't stand the thought of being associated with something considered inferior, they avoid being part of it.

Let the hate threads show up. We end up with a friendlier, more relaxed community as a result of the players who need to crap on others flocking to Aether and Primal. Those on Crystal who are interested in raiding might be a smaller percentage of the data center population but they still get their Savage and Ultimate clears.

Absolutely not a "hate on Crystal" intention. My ONLY beef was the shock of going from a server where, even when an area was packed with people (Limsa, for example) I had no lag or disconnects to transferring to Mateus and logging in to an immediate lag freeze followed by 90006 disconnect. I honestly have zero knowledge of the reputation of each world/server. I don't normally hang on on forums. My apologies.

I haven't had much lag issue on Mateus but I have had lag spikes on and off in instances, especially right after zoning in. It's been worse over the past month or two, never used to be a problem. I'd think that's less on Mateus and more on instance server load but it's weird it doesn't seem to be happening to more people if that's the case.

That's actually pretty good! There's literally no reason to not be on Aether unless you're actively looking for a dead datacenter.
