Timer for housing relocations

I own a private house and I want to see this change. Please make it so that you can only relo once every 3 months, give it a cooldown so it's a choice people have to think about.
Even asides from too many people trying to enter the housing market with the influx of new players, it's too commonly used as a griefing/ plot control tactic. I remember the release
of the new extra wards being flooded with relocaters just to set the plots on timers for shits and giggles. Or to otherwise extend the chances of their friends getting one.
Also if SE wanted to like, actively watch what happens at open plots, that would be cool.

First of all, no one will relocate that often, of course, there are sadistic individual would do that but that is not a norm.
The situation you describe will happen either way with or without this timer.
People who got bad location at older ward will always want to take opportunity for a better plot in the new ward, so that makes you are lol 3 months timer pointless.
You will still see many plots on timer at older ward.

You might want to reserve your energy on ask Square/Enix to abandon the lol lottery idea.
Just imagine after ishegard release, there are so many plots on timer and everyone (those without the house) submitted a que to the lol lottery system.

No thanks. New wards don't take 3 months to fill so why do people keep coming up with these months long relocation timers. To add weight to the decision? I'll move to a better plot whenever I like thank you.

Realistically relocation should not be a thing at all.

Seriously, why are people who already have a house rewarded with the ability to jump to the head of the line on a new plot?

EDIT: Relocation could be an option AFTER the relocator stands there clicking with everyone else.

I don't like the idea of a relocation timer, however, I think they should remove the ability to bypass the housing-timer on open plots for people who are relocating. I've never understood why that is even an option. With the way housing is, private owners and FCs alike should be happy that they have ANY house at all, who cares if it's just a small in some fugly part of town.

And I say this as a homeowner if that makes any difference at all.

I haven't looked at the thing in awhile, but I coulda swore that not every ward will have the lottery anyway.
I think I also recall something about proposed FC wards and personal wards.

Ideally lottery wards won't even allow relocation...

I believe the rationale behind relocations being immediate is it does not affect the number of available plots. It just changes which ones are available so why restrict it. To me it is just exposes another issue with a badly broken housing system that SE refuses to resolve by introducing a robust instanced system to run in parallel with the ward system.

It's happening on Balmung right now it's all over the housing discord with people transferring just to troll. I have a friend working hard to try and get a plot there. Furthermore these people are not transferring in right away but doing it during prime time when most houses are in fact coming off timers to reset them. Interestingly enough those doing it say they can and that SE won't do anything about it. These characters are sadistic and are going to spoil transfers for the good guys. There needs to be a 30 day cooldown on transfers so anyone transferring can't do it again right away let alone transfer out right after to the plot they transferred from.

There is no reason why transfers should be unlimited with only a 5 minute cooldown.

Sucks for those who just managed to get a small and a more desirable available but you can't get it.

Relocations don't happen that often so I guess I'm on the fence on a suggestion to gate relocations.

I was wondering why the same couple of plots on the mist and the goblet keep on popping up.

I've honestly thought about reporting it but couldn't find anything concrete.
