Its also why server instability has been so difficult to fix over this last patch, they are working with split resources, and obviously XIV is going to draw the short stick. When you have deadlines to meet on *both* ends of the floor, it can be really hard to push out non-buggy content. Ppl want 2.0 on time, that means XIV has to proceed more or less on time. Its a nightmare of a situation SE put themselves in, all for delivering players an MMO that meets expectations.

As far as XI goes, I have no idea why that was so bad. Then again, you had an MMORPG noob designing it. That might have been the problem.
Im sorry there is no excuse what-so-ever for this. The bottom line is the testers did not do there jobs properly. Now the devs, yoshi and the players can make all the excuses they want but in the end SE testers did a piss poor job. If players want to blm burn thats fine I personaly dont care, if they want to do it the way the devs planned it I dont care. The fact is if this bug was that important to fix they would have restricted garuda access when they found out about the bug. Again dont make EXCUSSES for this, because there is no EXCUSS in the world for this kind of bug!
