Relics have already been nerfed. Legacy relics are easy to get. Especially since many of the steps require purchased materials and you passively gain poetics from everything. If you dedicate one of your days off to sit down and grind out the books (which are the only bad step in legacy relics), you can be done with a couple of relics in a day.

Light is a non-factor. Aurum Vale spam for ARR relics, unless either Stone Vigil or Tam-Tara are on bonus and AV is not. A9S for HW relics. Both of these methods will speed up your light farming to about an hour or two per weapon.
