Hello and welcome to the Crystal Data Center and the Brynhildr Server! AOD is looking for new, returning and veteran players alike interested in a casual, friendly & drama-free community. In AOD we help each other with dungeons, raids, trials, conduct weekly mount / minion farms, map hunts, ocean fishing, SE events and our very own FC social events. All content from ARR through current end-game is on the table. We even have members who run Savage and beyond content if you're interested in learning or looking for a few friends to run high-end duty content with. Established in 1999, we've intentionally cultivated a community focused on less drama and more gaming. Your relationships and investments within the community matter as here you'll find a gaming family for life. And while victory is important to us all, we value the individual first - not individual skill. We've no minimum item level (ilvl) , job level (jlvl) or parse requirements - everyone is welcome regardless of skill, game knowledge or ability.

What You Can Expect From AOD:
While each FC has its own personality and culture below are just some of AOD's unique features.
- We're not a skill-based FC. We value our members and community first above everything else
- A mature, supportive and friendly environment in which you advance at your own pace
- Our members cover FFXIV from it's 2013 relaunch to playing an MMO for the very first time

(3) Socially interacts with our community and/or AOD as a whole

I would not recommend this FC. Despite their claims to be mature and drama free, you can be booted without warning or explanation outside of a vague ban reason on their forums. Even after giving them your loyalty and time with them, they don't feel you are entitled to know what you have done wrong or have your side of the story heard.

Also amusing fact; they consider giving your negative opinions as "Revenge Posting". Should be a big red flag when some organization says "Its harassment to give us a bad review!".

I played many MMOs and was in many guilds/clans/FCs. AOD is the most active and helpful group I have ever had the pleasure of being a member with. I love my new family.

I've been in AOD for over a year now and started playing FFXIV again when they started a division for it. It's an awesome community and an amazing place to be when I need to fill my days!

I was looking for an active group of age 18+ players to join, since I couldn't relate to / didn't feel included in the FCs full of younger people. I looked into AOD and saw that they had covered all of their bases and were extremely well organized. Their key concept is welcoming all players and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and like they're a part of the group. Probably the best online community I've ever been a part of. Highly recommend.
